  1. How soon are discounts credited to my account?
    Most discounts are credited within 48 hours. However, it is possible for this process to take up to 30 days. Some retailers are able to report your purchase as soon as the product is dispatched. Some retailers, however, cannot confirm your purchase until the return period for the product you have purchased has elapsed

    Once you complete your purchase, The Cash Back Network actively requests an order confirmation from the retailer so we can credit your account as soon as possible. Once the retailer finalises the purchase details, we will immediately send you notification via email and update your account summary. When using vouchers and special offers at any of our retailers, we can only guarantee your discounts with the use of vouchers that are listed on The Cash Back Network site or in the Savings Key software.   2. When do I get my rebate cheque?
    Each month, we will send you a Rebate Cheque for purchases posted during the previous month. However, if your discounts total £5 or less, we'll credit your account until the total discounts have reached £5. Rebate cheques will be sent on the last day of each month.

  3. How do I make sure I'm saving as much as possible?
    We make it easy. Just click on The Cash Back Network link from within the membership website. You can look for Retailers or Products by using our search box. You can browse the Category you are looking for, or view All Retailer Rebates. Click on the Retailer and you'll be getting Cash Back automatically.

    You can also download our Savings Key to save when you go directly to the sites to shop!

  4. Where do my discounts go?
    Your cheque will be posted directly to you at your Member Profile address. If no address is present in your account profile, we will be unable to send you a cheque and your discounts will be rolled over into your account balance.

  5. Do all purchases I make at any Cash Back Network retailer get credited by The Cash Back Network?
    Yes, if you start at The Cash Back Network or if you download and use our Savings Key. If you do not click through The Cash Back Network or download and use our Savings Key prior to entering the retailer site, you will not be credited with a discount. (There are also some products that do not qualify for discounts -- see below.) If you click through The Cash Back Network and make a purchase, then surf elsewhere on the Web and return to that Retailer and make a second purchase, your second purchase will not earn a discount unless you have downloaded Savings Key. (You must click through The Cash Back Network every time you shop at a retailer site or download and use our Savings Key.) If you use multiple windows on your browser, the window in which you shop at the retailer must have been originated at The Cash Back Network Website.

  6. Can I use special offers and Vouchers and still earn a Cash Back Network discount?
    We work with our retailers to provide you with special offers and Vouchers that you can combine with The Cash Back Network discounts for maximum savings. We try very hard to provide you with an extensive list of retailer special offers and Vouchers. Please refer to the special offers page or the retailer search for these offers. If you choose to use Vouchers and special offers that are not listed on The Cash Back Network site, we cannot guarantee that you will be eligible to receive a Cash Back Network discount on your purchases. It is advisable to check with each retailer to see if they allow such combination for special offers and Vouchers not listed on The Cash Back Network site.

    Furthermore, please be advised that Vouchers and special offers listed on The Cash Back Network site are subject to change. Restrictions may apply. The Cash Back Network tries to present the most accurate offers but cannot make guarantees due to the time-sensitive nature of these promotions.

  9. Do all purchases qualify for a discount?
    Virtually every item you purchase through The Cash Back Network qualifies for a discount. We cannot, however, give discounts for taxes, delivery, or any portion of a purchase that is paid for with Vouchers, gift certificates or a retailer credit. Any purchase of products and services in which the transaction is substantially completed by telephone does not qualify for a discount. In addition, a few cases where retailers have specifically noted that they will not pay discounts are listed below:

    -Dell Computers: Any purchase of Dell products and services in which the transaction is substantially completed by telephone or by a Dell salesperson, or any purchase of refurbished goods. Any orders placed through the Dell Business Alliance Systems Division, State & Local Government, Education, Healthcare, Medium & Large Business, Emerging Business and Internet Service Provider Divisions are not eligible for discounts. Please be aware that Dell is unable to track orders that are made by linking between business units. If you click on Dell Home, Dell Home Software and Peripherals or Dell Small Business, the purchase needs to be made within that business unit. If you find that you have navigated away from the intended site or you wish to access other areas of the Dell Site, return to The Cash Back Network home page and choose the appropriate link for the purchase. Purchases of computer systems are not permitted through the Dell Home Software and Peripherals link. Purchases made in the Dell Outlet site are not commissionable, and a discount will not be paid.

  10. How do I know you are tracking my purchases while I am shopping?
    By starting at The Cash Back Network your purchases will automatically be tracked OR if you have downloaded the Savings Key software, when you first get to your shopping destination you will see a rebate confirmation pop-up.

  12. What Browser Settings do I need to use for The Cash Back Network?
    For Internet Explorer 6

    On the Tools dropdown menu, select Internet Options. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Privacy Tab. Move the Security slider to the Medium level or lower and click OK

    For Firefox 1

    On the Tools menu, select Options. On the Category menu, select Privacy. On the Privacy menu select Cookies. Click the box next to "Allow sites to set Cookies" and "Keep Cookies until they expire." Click OK.

    For Netscape 7

    On the Tools menu, select Options. On the Category menu, select Privacy. On the Privacy menu select Cookies. Click the box next to "Keep Cookies unitl they expire." Click OK.

    For AOL 7

    Select My AOL. Choose WWW, and click the Security tab. Go to Custom Level, find "Cookie," and click "Enable." Click OK.

  13. How can I access my transaction history?
    If you click on "Rebate History" in the top navigation bar you may view your summary transactions and rebates earned.

  14. How can I update my account information?
    Click on "Rebate History" in the top navigation bar. Then click on the "View/Edit my account information" hyperlink in the first sentence. This page will allow you to view your current profile and make any necessary changes to your name, address, and where we send your cheque.

  15. How do I search for a store or product?
    Find the search box below the top navigation bar in The Cash Back Network area of Shopper Discounts & Rewards. Type the name of the store or product you're looking for, and click the "go" button.

  16. Can I use the Cash Back Network if I live outside the United Kingdom?
    No you must be a resident of the United Kingdom to be a member of the programme.

  17. What if The Cash Back Network doesn't offer the retailer I want?
    We are working hard to ensure our member base will enjoy a variety of goods and services from a wide range of retailers. If we do not have your favourite retailer, or if you would like to recommend a retailer to us, simply email our customer care department at: customerservice@thecashbacknetwork.com We will do everything possible to add your retailer.

  18. Do gift certificates qualify for a discount?
    No. The Cash Back Network can't give discounts for the portion of a purchase that is made with gift cards, vouchers or certificates. Nor can we give discounts for the purchase of gift certificates, vouchers or gift cards.

  19. What if I want to return or cancel an order?
    Returns are subject to the return policy of the retailer from whom you purchased. If you return or cancel an item, we have to reverse any discount from that sale.

    Exchanges make a discount ineligible. In the process of an exchange, the retailer cancels the old order and replaces it with a new one. When doing this, The Cash Back Network commission gets reversed and a new commission is not established because the retailer has created the new order (thus meaning the order was not completed through The Cash Back Network - but placed through the retailer directly). Because of this, the retailer will not pay us the commission, which means we have no discount to pass on to you.

    To avoid losing the discount, please make sure all returns are final and that they do not constitute an exchange. Have the retailer refund your credit card, and then re-place the order through us to receive the discount.

  20. Are my transactions secure when going through The Cash Back Network?
    Yes. When you check out at any of our retailers, you are on a very safe connection called a Secure Socket Layer (SSL).

  21. What are "cookies" and how do I enable them?
    Cookies are simply text files that allow a site to recognise you when you return. This means you don't have to log-in again and again. Cookies used by The Cash Back Network and our network of retailers are safe and they are enabled by default with most browsers.

  22. What is The Cash Back Network's Savings Key?
    The Cash Back Network's Savings Key, offered as a download from The Cash Back Network, is a small tracking tool that runs autonomously on your computer. It simply notices when you visit selected sites and sends a message notifying you of participating retailers. The Cash Back Network's Savings Key ensures that your purchases from all participating retailers earn you rebates, whether you shop through The Cash Back Network website or not.

  23. How do I uninstall The Cash Back Network's Savings Key?
    You can uninstall The Cash Back Network's Savings Key by following these steps in order:

    1. Close all your browsers.
    2. Open Control Panel, and click Add/Remove Programmes.
    3. Click the "Change/Remove" button next to The Cash Back Network's Savings Key. When it asks "Are you sure you wish to uninstall?" click "Yes".
    4. The uninstaller will completely remove The Cash Back Network's Savings Key from your machine.
