Best Price Guarantee
Terms of Service
How Best Price Guarantee Works
While you are a member of our service, all qualifying products that you purchase with a valid credit or debit card are protected under Best Price Guarantee (Please note that other forms of payment such as cash payments are not covered by this protection because we cannot adequately validate claims). If you find that a UK merchant - online or offline - is lawfully selling, in the UK, the identical product that you bought from them at a lower price, within 90 days of your original purchase (and the item is not listed in our Programme Exclusions below), then if you have not managed to obtain a full refund from that merchant, just show us valid proof of your purchase and the lower price, and we'll reimburse you double the difference in price (less the total of any amounts that you have managed to recover through other avenues of recovery available to you).

You may purchase the original product from a UK merchant online or offline (your local department store, for instance). In cases where the merchant has multiple presences (online, catalogue and physical store locations), Best Price Guarantee applies across all that merchant's venues in the UK. Therefore, if you purchase an item from that merchant's UK catalogue and find it sold by that merchant at a lower price online and available in the UK, if it meets the other criteria outlined here, Best Price Guarantee will protect you. Similarly, if you purchase an item from a chain retailer's local UK store and find it at a lower price at another of their UK retailers, Best Price Guarantee will protect you. The price comparison will be inclusive of all delivery, handling, and rebates associated with the item but related exclusive of taxes and duties.

Before submitting a claim under Best Price Guarantee, you must have used all reasonable endeavours to obtain a refund and to recover the difference in price both from the retailer and under any other insurance cover available to you. An "identical product" is a non-defective, in-stock item carrying the same manufacturer's model number, colour, description, warranty and/or guarantee. If a computer product, in addition to the previous qualifications, it must contain an identical software package. An item that is damaged in any way, discontinued, defective, a second, refurbished or a floor sample does not qualify as an identical product.

How to Make a Claim
You can initiate a claim on this site. You need to submit your claim within 90 days of the date that you purchased the original item. Supporting claim documentation must be postmarked within 7 days of submitting the claim on this site and no later than 97 days from the purchase date. Upon verification of the new retail price, you will be sent a cheque for double the difference in price between the price paid for the merchandise and the new price (less any difference in price that you have managed to recover). You can collect up to £50 per item and up to £1,000 per year in total. In order to be eligible for your claim, you must be a member of this service at the time that you make your purchase, submit your claim, and at the time the claim is paid. You must have made the entire purchase with a credit or debit card.

When you make a claim, as valid proof of the lower price for the item you purchased, you will be asked to submit a sales receipt that shows the item, price, manufacturer, model number, sales date, and the retailer's name and address, as well as the credit or debit card statement for the period the purchase was made in. You are also asked to submit, for the identical, lower priced item you have found, a verifiable advertisement or a printed copy of a Web page that shows the item, price, manufacturer, model number, sales date, and the retailer's name and address. You may also be asked to verify through additional credit card or debit card/bank statements that you still own the claimed merchandise and that you will not return or exchange the claimed merchandise. We may also ask you to provide us with suitable evidence that you have tried (but failed) to obtain appropriate redress from the retailer and from any other insurance cover available to you (or a declaration that you do not have any applicable insurance). If we change the claims process, we shall communicate the new process on this site.
