  4. How do I get my product repaired?
If the original warranty is in effect, you should follow the manufacturer's instructions. However, if a product fails after the original warranty has expired, but while Extended Warranty protection is in effect, then you can initiate a claim on this site by first getting a repair estimate, then coming to the site and choosing "Extended Warranty" from the navigation bar to make a claim. Send in your completed claim form to be processed by a Claim Representative, who will work with you to satisfy your needs. Please note that before you have a product repaired, you need to get approval from your Claim Representative on the repair estimate.

  5. Who pays to repair a product?
After you have received approval from your Claim Representative on the repair estimate, if you wish to proceed with the repair, you must pay for the repair. We would subsequently reimburse you for the pre-authorised cost. Your Extended Warranty protection mirrors the scope of the manufacturer's coverage. Therefore, you will be responsible for any diagnostic, dismantling, and reassembling costs if the product failure is not covered under the original manufacturer's warranty. See Extended Warranty Terms of Service for other conditions.

  6. If the manufacturer's warranty is limited in some way, does Extended Warranty protection have similar limitations?
Yes. Extended Warranty protection extends the timeframe, but retains the same scope, of the manufacturer's coverage. For example, if the manufacturer's warranty covers solely parts, then Extended Warranty protection covers only parts. Or, if the manufacturer's warranty covers six months parts and 3 months labour, then Extended Warranty protection extends the coverage to 1 year parts and 6 months labour.
