  1. How do I get Extended Warranty protection on an item I purchase?
    Extended Warranty protection automatically applies to every qualifying purchase made -- online or offline -- while a Member of this service.

  2. Which items are covered by Extended Warranty protection?
    Most new, noncommercial retail products purchased and paid for in full while a Member of this service qualify for Extended Warranty protection. Qualifying products also need to carry a UK manufacturer's written warranty of one year or less. All conditions and exclusions of the original manufacturer's warranty apply.   3. Do I need to register my purchases?
    No. Any qualifying item purchased from a retailer -- whether purchased at a local retailer or online -- while a Member of this service is covered by Extended Warranty protection.

  4. How do I get my product repaired?
    If the original warranty is in effect, you should follow the manufacturer's instructions. However, if a product fails after the original warranty has expired, but while Extended Warranty protection is in effect, then you can initiate a claim on this site by first getting a repair estimate, then coming to the site and choosing "Extended Warranty" from the navigation bar to make a claim request. Send in your completed claim form request to be processed by a Claim Representative, who will work with you to satisfy your needs. Please note that before you have a product repaired, you need to get approval from your Claim Representative on the repair estimate.

  5. Who pays to repair a product?
    After you have received approval from your Claim Representative on the repair estimate, if you wish to proceed with the repair, you must pay for the repair. wich would be covered up to for the pre-authorised cost. Extended Warranty protection mirrors the scope of the manufacturer's coverage. Therefore, you will be responsible for any diagnostic, dismantling,and reassembling costs if the product failure is not covered under the original manufacturer's warranty.   6. If the manufacturer's warranty is limited in some way, does Extended Warranty protection have similar limitations?
    Yes. Extended Warranty protection extends the timeframe, but retains the same scope, of the manufacturer's coverage. For example, if the manufacturer's warranty covers solely parts, then Extended Warranty protection covers only parts. Or, if the manufacturer's warranty covers six months parts and 3 months labour, then Extended Warranty protection extends the coverage to 1 year parts and 6 months labour.

  7. How do I make a claim request?
    You can initiate a claim on this site by completing the Claim Request Form on-line and posting all supporting documentation to us at the address referred to on the contact us page of this site. You need to do so within 90 days of the occurrence that triggers the claim. You will need to provide a repair estimate at the time you make a claim request. See Extended Warranty Terms of Service for additional information on making a claim.

  8. Is there a limit to the number of claims which can be made?
    There are no limits on the number of claims which can be made, but all claims need to be made while a Member of this service. There is a per item limit of the lesser of the original purchase price of the item and £500. There is an annual limit per Member of £5,000 per year.
